About Us
Welcome to Complete High School Maize!
Complete High School Maize is a program designed for students who might find the traditional school environment challenging. It brings together students from both Maize High School and Maize South High School. At Complete High School, we still make sure students meet all the same curriculum requirements as those at Maize High School and Maize South High School, but we do it in a smaller, more personalized setting.
Our school is intentionally small, with a maximum of 60 students at any time. This allows our staff to work more closely with each student, offering individualized instruction based on their unique learning styles. Many of the activities we use for learning are hands-on projects, which work really well in this smaller, more flexible environment.
Our school day starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 4:15 p.m.
Our students also have numerous electives that are available. They range from piloting programs, gaming concepts, languages, to car repair, investing and taxes.

How to Enroll
If you’re interested in enrolling, both students and parents can fill out an application and submit it to us. Once we receive it, the student will be added to the waiting list. We take students off the list in the order applications are received. When you reach the top of the list, we’ll set up an interview to see if Complete High School is a good fit for the student.
When a student finishes the Complete High School program, they’ll earn a high school diploma from Maize USD 266 and have the chance to walk in their high school’s graduation ceremony.

Application Requirements
To attend Complete High School Maize, students need to live within the USD 266 Maize School District. If you're not on a Maize School bus route, you'll need to arrange your own transportation.
Here are the application requirements for Complete High School Maize:
- Minimum age: 16
- 0.5 PE credit
- 0.5 Health credit
- 1 Fine Arts credit
- Academic Progress: Students should show an effort to progress in their studies, with evidence of participation in a traditional high school setting, including attendance and class engagement.
- Credit Accumulation: Students must be working toward graduation, meeting the school's curriculum requirements.
We give strong preference to students with these credits based on grade level:
- Sophomore: 4 credits
- Junior: 8 credits
- Senior: 13 credits
